Domain For Sale – Tips For Domain Buying
Want to buy a domain for sale? Not sure where to look? Well, I’ve got some answers for you. Having your own domain name is step one to having a successful internet business. Many people mistakenly think that it’s OK to go with the free services such as Yahoo, WordPress or Blogger. If you’re only building a blog so you can keep in touch with family or friends than that’s a good way to go about it, but if you’re trying to make money online there are several reasons why that isn’t the best course of action.
For one thing, when you use the free services you don’t own anything. You are completely at the mercy of the company, and their policies. If they decide they don’t like something in your blog they can pull the plug, and they don’t have to warn you or give you an explanation. You don’t want to spend weeks, months or years building up a successful business to just wake up one day and find that your website has been offline.
The second thing is that you want to brand yourself. As you build your business you want to gain name recognition. This is a very important element to any successful business and without your own domain name it’s virtually impossible. If you are using free services it just makes you look unprofessional, this is especially bad if you’re trying to build yourself up as a teacher in a certain field.
Now that I’ve convinced you that you need to invest in your own domain names, you need to know how to pick the best name and where to buy one. For most people the best way to pick out a good domain name is to start with keyword research. Pick a list of highly searched keywords in your niche market and then try to get those exact keywords as domain names.
For example, if your niche is dog training and you find a great keyword: Quick and easy dog training. Than you would try to get QuickAndEasyDogTraining.com as your domain name. You do want to keep the domain name around 3 or 4 words max, but with a domain name like this you will get a ton of free traffic since your domain name is the exact search term people are looking for.
Now that you’ve decided on what your domain names should be you can go to places like GoDaddy.com or NameCheap (I only use NameCheap) and do a search to see if the domain name you want is available. Many times it won’t be, that’s why it’s important to have quite a long list of possible names. I personally recommend using other extensions than just a .com. I’ve found that I have just as good luck with a .net or .org (it can also be easier to get one of these extensions). If you buy just one domain name at a time for a one year period it’s usually around $10 a year. Blogging Beginners has a couple of free videos on choosing your domain name that might make it easier for you.
I personally don’t buy my domain names for more than a year at a time at first, true you’ll have to renew it in a year (the company you bought it from will let you know when it needs to be renewed) but why pay for several years for a domain name that might not be a moneymaker? I personally like to pay for one year until I know whether or not I’ve found a moneymaking niche, when I know I’ve got a profitable niche on my hands I’ll pay for several years in advance.
There you go, everything you need to know when it comes time to find a domain for sale. Having your own domain name is one of the most important steps in building a profitable online empire.

What Is Blogging
It’s easy to get confused when it comes to the internet, it seems like there is a new fad popping up almost daily. Between Facebook, and Tweeting, it’s very easy to feel overwhelmed and while I don’t pretend to be an expert about all things internet, I can help answer the question: what is blogging?
Blogs started as online journals, a web log (blog). For the most part it started as a way for people to have their own website online and share their thoughts and expertise with anyone who might be interested. Over the last few years though more and more people have learned that having a blog can also help them make some money online.
Although the best way to make money and have the control you need to create a profitable blog is to have it on your own hosting with your own domain name (like they teach at Blogging Beginners) there are many places where you can start a blog for free, some of the most popular are WordPress.com, Blogger.com, Squidoo.com, HubPages.com. If you want to learn more just do a search online. These places will allow you to set up your own blog for no charge.
The actual steps may vary somewhat from one place to another, but here is an overview of the basic steps you will take to set up your own blog:
1. First you will sign up, at that time you will be asked to pick out a name for your blog. It can be anything you want it to be, Cathy’s Kittens, or Sally’s Sewing, etc. Just pick something that you like and reflects the nature of your blog.
2. Once you’ve signed up you can pick out the theme you want to use. A theme is just the template for your blog. They come in all types of styles and you can find many of them for free. Just do a search for themes online and you’ll see what I mean.
3. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the theme and how it works. It’s not hard, but you want to be comfortable so you don’t miss out on any great options you may have.
4. Start making posts to your blog. Every time you write an article for your blog it’s called a post. Most blog themes will allow you to easily upload pictures, videos, and music. They will also have helpful features like spell check.
Once you’ve got your post looking just the way you want it, you can click on the ‘publish’ tab and your post will be uploaded to your blog so that all your visitors can read what you’ve written or look at your pictures.
These are the basic steps you will need to take when starting a blog. The important thing for you to remember is that if you are starting a blog as a business you will want to change out some of these steps:
1. The first thing you will want to do is to figure out what subject your blog is going to be about. This isn’t a difficult step but it is a vital one. When it comes to making money online with a blog, half the battle is picking the right niche market. Find a market that has a lot of people who are passionate about it… and who spend money on it, and you’re well on your way.
2. When you find a good niche market you can take a keyword related to that market and buy a domain name with that keyword in it. With a business blog you don’t want to use the free sites, you will want to buy a domain name and get a hosting account. I know this can sound overwhelming if you are new, but just take it one step at a time, it’s not that hard or that expensive. A hosting account and domain name will cost you around %30, maybe a little less.
3. At this point the process is basically the same as the above method. You just pick out a theme that reflects the topic of your website and start making posts.
I hope this overview has helped answer the question: what is blogging? Just get started and you’ll see how easy and fun it can be.

Increase Blog Traffic
It doesn’t really matter if your blog is a personal blog that you do just for fun, or if you’re a serious online marketer who uses their blog to make money, everyone wants to know how to increase blog traffic. That seems to be the universal question.
The good news is that just by using a blog format for your website you’ve already done a lot to get more targeted traffic to your blog. The search engines love fresh content and since blogs are updated far more frequently than a static site would be, the search engines view that as a content driven site and will rank it higher.
There are many other things you can do, for free, to increase the amount of traffic you get to your blog. And remember, it’s not just about any traffic, it’s about getting quality traffic, traffic that consists of people who are actually interested in the topic of your blog.
Here are a few of the simplest and most effective free things you can do to keep the flow of quality traffic to your blog going strong:
1. Post often. The more often you post, the more often your blog will get crawled by the search engines and you will be rewarded with a higher page rank and more free traffic. One word of warning though, as with vitamins, don’t fall into thinking that if one is good 15 must be better. If you post too many times in a day, the search engines will think that your not building your site in a ‘natural’ way and they will penalize you for it.
A very effective rule of thumb is to post one post every single day for 21 days, I don’t know why, but that 21 seems to be the magic number. After the first 21 days you can slow down to several posts a week if you want, or you can continue with one a day, it’s up to you.
2. Write articles that will direct people to visit your blog. You can use the free Google keyword tool to target the types of keyword phrases people are using to find your blog, than write quality articles around that keyword, then you can submit your article for free to article directories such as EzineArticles.com.
3. Learn a little about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and start using those techniques on your blog. This will make your site stand out to the search engines. Don’t worry about knowing everything there is to know about SEO, just a few basic concepts can make a huge difference.
4. Visit other blogs and leave a comment with a link back to your blog. This will not only show people that you are an expert in your field, but they will also be interested in checking out your blog and more about what you have to say, assuming of course that you leave insightful, interesting comments.
These methods are the easiest methods that will help you increase blog traffic, that you will find. Don’t waste a ton of money on expensive pay per click campaigns when you can have even better results just by investing a little time.

Blog For Money – Don’t Make It Hard
Even though the economy is running extremely rough right now, we are still lucky because the internet has opened up so many new income generating possibilities. The sad thing is that so many people are unfamiliar with the various ways of making money online and many people, who simply don’t know any better, will dismiss internet income opportunities as scams. While it’s true there are scams online, and off, it’s also true that you can make real money online and one of the best ways for a beginner to make money online is starting to blog for money.
A blog is simply an online journal, the name comes from the words web log, blog. You can start a blog for free and learning how to set up your blog is very easy to do even if you don’t know anything about computers or websites. Most people will learn all they need to know in a few hours. You can pick various themes and there are several things you can add to your blog that will help you monetize it.
The first thing you need to decide is what the theme of your blog be. It could simply be something that you are interested in and know a lot about such as a hobby, or if you really want to make a lot of money, you could learn the secrets to picking an extremely profitable niche market and start your blog around that niche. This will enable you to get more leverage out of your blog and make more money.
When it comes to earning money from your blog you have several choices, the two main options are with affiliate marketing and Google Adsense. Affiliate marketing is a business model where you sign up to become an affiliate, for free, for a certain product or service, advertise that product or service on your blog, and when someone buys that product or service from the unique URL of your site (which will have your unique affiliate id embedded in it) you will earn a commission.
Google Adsense is a process where you allow Google to place ads on your blog, ads that are related to the topic of your blog, when someone clicks on one of the ads you will earn a commission. With adsense the amount you make per click can vary dramatically based on the popularity (and thus the amount of money advertisers are willing to spend to place the ad) of a certain topic. The more popular the niche you’re in, the more advertisers will spend on the ads and the more you’ll make when someone clicks on those ads.
Don’t let the ignorance of others scare you off of learning how to blog for money. Sure, it’s true that there are a lot of scams online, just like there are anywhere else if you’re not careful, but the reality is that if you’re willing to invest some time to learn some simple skills you can turn your hobby into an income… maybe even a full time income.

Blogging Guide Made Simple
Blogs aren’t just for telling your far flung family members about your recent trip anymore, they are used more and more as a way to drive highly targeted website visitors to your site with the intent of making a sale. The reason blogs are becoming the mainstream for internet marketers is due in large part to the way search engines work, for that reason you need to have some basic understandings of the ins and outs of blogging, and that’s where this blogging guide can help.
I mentioned search engines and the way they work as the driving force behind the increasing popularity of blogs as a business website, here’s what I mean. All search engines love to give their customers, anyone who uses that search engine to find things online, quality results. Very often quality results and fresh content go hand in hand. For this reason the search engines love fresh content. When you put up a ‘regular’ static website the content doesn’t change very often… if ever. With a blog, on the other hand, the content changes often which keeps that site fresh which keeps the search engines happy and they will reward the blog owner by giving them a higher page rank.
When your blog gets a high page rank you will get a lot of free, targeted traffic and that is the name of the game. There is one thing that all online businesses have in common, they all need a constant supply of targeted visitors to their website. Any tool or technique that can help a website owner get more traffic, especially for free, is a welcome addition.
The next thing you’ll want to keep in mind when starting your blog is that if you want to build a business around it you need to be willing to invest a little money. You don’t want to stick with the free WordPress or Blogger platforms because you don’t actually own anything. If you buy your own domain name (for around $10) and you have that domain hosted (around $10/month) you will actually own that little piece of internet real estate. You can do whatever you want with your domain, including sell it.
You also want to think carefully about what the topic of your blog will be, this is really important if you plan on making money with your blog. Careful choice of the niche market you’re going to build your business in is something that is too often overlooked. If you take some time to pick a good niche market, the rest of your business building will be much easier. Picking the right niche is about 90% of the battle.
Using the information in this blogging guide can really help you set off on your new blogging career on the right foot. Just be willing to invest some time to learn new concepts, than put into practice what you’ve learned, and you’ll be amazed at how much money you can make online, and how much fun you can have making it.
You can find a comprehensive free video tutorials at Blogging Beginners.
Good luck!
