Keyword Search Marketing – 7 Simple Tips
If you have decided that you are going to advertise your internet business using search engine optimization, then you need to do some keyword search marketing before you do anything else. Keywords will ultimately get you the visitors to your website that you need to be successful.
Using a keyword tool like Google Adwords Keyword Tool will give you ideas on the keywords your customers are using in their searches to find what they want. Be careful though, not all keywords are good ones. Some may be obsolete and not work for you. So choose wisely.
No matter how you are going to advertise, article marketing, PPC (pay-per-click) or search engine optimization, effective keywords are important to each one. Below are simple steps you can follow to do a keyword search.
1. Do a Google search for Google Adwords Keyword Tool.
2 When you get there, type a keyword related to whatever product or service you are offering in the search bar.
3. Type in the captcha security characters in the box provided.
4. Click “get keyword ideas”.
5. You will get a list of keyword search marketing ideas related to your product or service and info on how many searches that particular keyword gets and what your competition is, in numbers. What you are looking for when you see these numbers is a high search rate with low competition. This is a good keyword.
6. Now, open Notepad and copy and paste the good keywords you find into it. Remember, finding good keywords may take some time. It is not always as easy as it sounds. They generally do not just jump right off the page into your lap. Be patient.
7. Keep searching, do this over and over again until you have several keywords that will work for you. Then you can start putting your website together.
Oh, by the way, the domain name you purchase for your website should be one of these keywords followed by .com, .net, .org, etc. That way, when someone searches for that specific keyword, your site will be the first one they see at the top of the search results page. It is quite the feeling when you see that for the first time. Not only are you at the top of the search results page, but you will feel like you are on top of the world, also.
Take that momentum and just build on it. Try not to get discouraged if you don’t make any money right away. Just learn new and different ways to drive more and more traffic to your website. The money will come later. This is by no means a get rich quick kind of thing. This does take work. Just like anything you have that is worthwhile, you have to work for it.
Starting a new internet business can be intimidating and confusing. You can lessen the confusion and intimidation by knowing and understanding what it is your customers want and need. Keyword research marketing is the first step in that process.

The Internet Advertising Business And What It Means For You
When it comes to marketing your business online, there are many methods that you can use. The internet advertising business is booming and for good reason. Advertising online is efficient, effective and trackable. While it is difficult to measure your results with offline advertising, most online methods can offer you detailed data about your advertising campaigns.
If you’ve been looking into advertising online, you’ve most likely come across information about marketing for free through the social sites and networks. This is one very cost-effective way to promote your business–however, it is time consuming and the results are not immediate. So it is important to set up a schedule and stick to it. Participating in social networking sites will definitely contribute to your popularity.
Start out with a couple of them and interact on a regular basis. Getting involved allows you to establish yourself as a player in your industry and it also allows you to keep up on what the trends are and what the leaders in your field are up to. It’s also a great way to establish partnerships with others that may compliment your business efforts. If you’re like many people who have already been using sites like Facebook for family and friends, you can easily integrate your account to include a business page and group.
Pay Per click (PPC) plays a very important role in the internet advertising business realm. Many marketers associate PPC with Google Adwords since Google does get the most traffic. But all search engines offer pay per click. Google is probably the best one to get started on because it’s extremely inexpensive to register (%5.00) and they do have the most traffic. However, if you are just starting out, you need to make sure you get some solid advice on how to use your funds. Start small, with just a few ads and gradually work your way up. And, unless you have a huge budget to work with, do not bid on the highest traffic keywords. Luckily, there are parameters in PPC platforms that allow you to set a daily budget so that you can make sure you stick within your means.
Then there are the more traditional offline approaches to online advertising. You can place a banner advertisement on a high-traffic site in your industry, a classified advertisement in an online newspaper, or an ezine advertisement which goes out to an online magazine’s subscriber list.
Regardless of the means you use to advertise, the ad itself is of paramount importance. The key to a successful ad is your headline. Think about how many headlines you read every day or about how many email subject lines you skim over. Your target audience will be getting the same amount of overload. They will only respond to something that reaches out and grabs them and you must do that in your headline. Write your ads with passion, excitement, and benefits (not with features). For example, an ad with features will discuss the high-speed of the product. An ad with benefits will discuss how the product saves you time. Keep this in mind when you are starting to get involved in the internet advertising business.

Search Engine Marketing – Keyword Research Is Critical
If you have chosen to market your business with search engine marketing keyword research is your next obvious step. SEM, (search engine marketing), is a great way to get your internet business off the ground. The way you need to begin is with a good keyword search tool to help find good keywords to use.
What are you selling or offering as a service? Try to think like a consumer who is looking for this exact thing. Write down how you would search for it online. Here is the starting point for your keyword research.
Type these ideas, one at a time, into the keyword finder of your choice. The keyword finder will then be able to give you more suggestions of other keywords you may not have thought of. Open a Notepad file and save these keywords for later use.
If you want a leg up, try to find out what keywords your competitors are using by locating the keyword tags on their website and then right clicking in a blank area of the website, then clicking on ‘view source’ in the drop down menu. Refine those keywords by making them a more exact description what it is you are selling or offering as a service and use them to your advantage as one search engine marketing keyword.
It will take some time, maybe even a few months for you to get a handle on what keywords work best for you and which ones do not. When you get to this point, get rid of the ones that do not work and replace them with new ones then repeat the process. Keeping your keywords up to date will ensure your website stays at the top of the search engine results page.
Other guidelines to follow regarding using keywords effectively include using them in articles and blog-posts. In articles, make sure you do not use the keyword you have chosen more than three times. Once in the first paragraph, once in the body of the article and once in the last paragraph of the article. Your articles should be at least 500 words.
Blog posts do not have to be that long, usually 350 words and your keyword should only be used three times, in the title, once in the first paragraph and once in the last paragraph.
Whether you write articles or blog posts be careful that each one is original content. No duplicate content allowed. All that means is, if you write two or more articles, they cannot say the exact same thing in the exact same way. Mix it up. Use different words that mean the same thing. Time to bring out that creativity.
One other thing, your domain name. You will get ranked higher if your domain name is your keyword. Makes sense doesn’t it. If your domain name is your keyword and someone searches for that exact keyword they will see your website listed first then go to your site to buy what they need. Piece of cake.
Everything is connected, starting with your domain name right on down to the blog posts and your chosen search engine marketing keyword.

Get A Legion Of Online Ad Traffic With These Tools
Increased online ad traffic is one thing which industries depend upon in the present state of economy. They have the constraint of a tight financial situation due to the severe beating they got during the economic melt-down. Though there is a palpable sense in the financial circles that the storm has already passed and the economy is leveling off, there is no denying the fact that the recovery time may be far from complete. But these industries should not discontinue to advertise till they fully recover from the thrashing they got.
An increase in online ad traffic can be accomplished using SEM. Search Engine Marketing is so powerful that it can attract a legion of targeted visitors to their website. Unlike traditional advertising, SEM is cost-effective.
Online advertising can be done with the following tools:
The main benefit of pay-per-click ads is you are charged only when the searcher clicks on the ad. But each time the customer sees the ad, it involuntarily gets into his/her mind and when the need for your product arises, the person retrieves this information from their memory and clicks on the ad to make the purchase.
You also have banner ads that are more expensive. You may have seen such banner ads on the pages of search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and so on. Whenever a customer searches for a product, these banner ads are available for the customer to be seen. In other words, banner ads are meant to attract the target market.
The current trend is online advertising through social media marketing. Social media sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Stumble Upon, etc. build relationships among people and this will pave way for increasing online traffic. The good news is that even search engines have started to pay attention to these social media sites. The day is not far off when the ranking on the search engines will be determined only after taking into account the reputation commanded by the website on these social media marketing sites.
But for getting the best results in online advertising, you should use a tool called SEO (Search Engine Optimization). You have resources that are available for doing this, using which your website will get a good ranking on the search engine results. Having a good ranking on the search engine results will ensure good online traffic visiting your website. Search Engine Optimization can be done by yourself or you can get this done by utilizing the services of an expert.
It has been proved that by doing SEO, online traffic increases four times more than PPC. Once the SEO is firmly in place, you need not spend much on its maintenance unlike in PPC where you pay every time a customer clicks on your ad. The greatest benefit is that SEO ensures that the focus is on the targeted traffic and hence the conversion rate of sales is quite high.
Online advertising is a boon to companies, especially in the prevailing circumstances when traditional advertisement will cost a fortune. Using the power of the Internet and with the help of tools like SEO, PPC, Banner Ads, etc. that results in a good online ad traffic, you can definitely see an upward surge in your sales.

Keyword Internet Marketing Tips
When starting an online business, keyword internet marketing is very important. Keywords are what people type into the search bar when they are looking for a website that offers the product they need to buy. Knowing the keywords your customers are using and optimizing them into your website will put you miles ahead of your competition.
To find the keywords your customers are using, get yourself a good keyword internet marketing tool. There are many to choose from. Once you understand how to properly use keywords the quicker you can start ranking high on a search engine results page, increase traffic to your website and start making money.
When educating yourself about what a good keyword is, you will find that a good keyword is one that does not show results in the millions. You need to use keywords that are more specifically targeted to what you are selling. Doing this will rank you higher on the search engine results page, also.
Ranking high on the search engine results page will result in getting more people to click through to your website and more business for you. This is an extremely competitive world and anything you can do to get an advantage over your competition is beneficial.
Along with low competition make sure your keyword has a higher search number as well. The number of customers searching that keyword and the number of websites competing for those customers should be at least 1500 searches per month and under 20,000 competition. Any keyword you find that shows both of these standards should be a great keyword for you to use. Open up a Notepad file and start yourself a list. Copy and paste any good keywords you find into your Notepad file. Then they will be ready to just plug in when you need them.
Sometimes these keywords are not easy to find, although it is very exciting when you do find them because now you have something not everyone else knows about. Keywords that are more specifically targeted to what you are selling are called long-tail keywords. Long-tail keywords are keywords that are more than one or two words and even as long as a complete sentence usually describing exactly what the customer is looking for.
Imagine the traffic and sales figures if you are on top of the search engine results page and have these keywords that describe exactly what the customer wants. Boggles the mind! You could be making money, hand over fist, in a very short time with the right keywords. A good keyword research tool can make all the difference in the world.
So, do yourself a favor and educate yourself on keywords and where to find good ones then put them to good use and optimize your website with them. Remember one thing though, do not get complacent even if you do find a good keyword, searches and searchers change and you need to keep tabs on new keywords and then update your website as needed. When you use keyword internet marketing correctly, it will be as good as gold to you and your bottom line.
