Adwords Suggestion Tool For Profitable Keywords

Doing business online means that your primary goal is to get traffic to your website. There are many methods you can use to generate that steady stream of traffic: Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, and article marketing. All of these methods have one thing in common: you have to have a good list of keywords for them to work. That’s why many online marketers turn to Googles adwords suggestion keyword tool.

There are other programs online that will help you find great keywords, but most people stick with the giant and use the Google keyword tool. This tool will give you most of the information you’ll need to set up successful advertising campaigns online.

Of course, as with everything, the keyword tool is not the do all end all. It’s a really good place to start but you really have to drill down to find as many possible results as you can.

Most people will use this basic approach when doing their keyword research: type in a broad phrase and then take some of the results and drill those down even further.

Enter a general term and make note of the results. Depending on what you are using the keywords for, you may want to set the keyword tool to show you specific things such as the estimated cost per click, or the amount of competition, etc.

Once you’ve gotten a general list of possible keywords to target you can then get more specific in your search. For example, if you’re searching for dog toys you would enter ‘dog toys’ in the keyword tool. You will get back a fairly comprehensive list but you can than take those results and narrow them down further.

So if you got the term homemade dog toys you may be able to further hone that down to wooden home made dog toys. You get the idea. Start broad and narrow your selections down until you’ve got a complete list of highly targeted keywords to use for your online advertising campaigns.

The narrower you make your list the more targeted, and likely to actually make a purchase, your visitors will be. Also, you’ll have less competition for the term wooden homemade dog toys then you would for dog toys. True, you’ll also have fewer searches but the searchers you do have will be very targeted and they won’t cost you as much.

Don’t get too caught up the estimated cost per click numbers. These are only estimates. The actual amount you, or anyone else, pays for a given keyword can vary significantly based on several factors such as the quality score Google assigns to your ad.

The more clicks your ad gets the higher the quality score you’ll receive. If you have a high quality score your ad will show up higher in the results and you’ll pay less for the keyword.

The Adwords suggestion keyword tool is a great place to start your keyword research for any type of online advertising you need to do. Just don’t fall into the trap of believing that it’s going to give you every result for any given keyword and make sure to keep in mind that the results you get will largely be estimates and not exact numbers.

Google Keywords Tool – 3 Tips Plus More

The internet is the only place I know of where you can get access to so many valuable tools for free. One of the most widely used of these free tools is the Google keywords tool. This online resource is available to everyone who wants to use it and the best part about it, besides the fact that it’s free, is the fact that it’s very easy to use.

Don’t let it’s ease of use and the fact that it’s free distract you from the real power of this tool. There are very few things you can do online from a marketing standpoint (actually there may not be any. I can’t think of one right at the moment) where you don’t need a great list of highly searched for keywords.

Who better to turn to for that information than the biggest search engine around? They most certainly have access to what their searchers are looking for online as well as what words and phrases they are using for that search.

Most of the time, it will make sense to follow some basic steps when undertaking keyword research:

1. First things first. Use your head, think up a list of 10 or so ‘base keywords’. These are very general keywords and would probably be too broad and too competitive for you to target, they are just the first step.

2. Take your preliminary list and head over to the research tool. Plug each of these broad keyword phrases into the software, it’s very easy. Each of the broad phrases will give you a smaller, more drilled down list. Some of the words and phrases will show up more than once, but you will get some new phrases. Also, not all the phrases will work for your niche, but again, you’ll get some ideas of other possible keywords.

3. From these two steps you’ll probably already have a pretty long keyword list. A few things you’ll need to remember is that these lists will be good, but don’t think for one minute that all of the good keywords will be included on the list… they won’t be.

Also, don’t make the mistake of paying too much attention to the estimates of cost per click, average monthly searches or competition. These are only broad ideas.

Many new online marketers will make a huge mistake when it comes to keyword research. They will focus on the most highly searched phrases they can find. They will figure that if that many people are using a certain keyword than it will make sense for them to use that keyword and benefit from all that traffic.

Sounds good, doesn’t it? The only problem is that hundreds of thousands of other online marketers have the same idea. The keyword may get a ton of searches but it’s also going to have a ton of competition.

Instead focus on those keywords that ‘fly under the radar’. They still get a lot of monthly searches, but they aren’t as competitive which means you’ll have an easier time of getting ranked for those keywords and/ or you’ll pay less per click for those keywords. All this information will be yours when you use the Google keywords tool.

Basic Blogging Guide – A Way To Get Started Blogging

When blogs first came out, they were typically used by people for updating their family and friends about various aspects of the blogger’s lives. While some people still use blogs for that purpose, a lot of people have found a way to make good money through blogs. They have found a way to make the search engines work for them and cash in from their visitors. However, it is next to impossible to make money with a blog unless you have a good blogging guide to help you along the way.

Okay, so what does it mean when I say bloggers “make search engines work for them”? That’s a fair question; allow me to explain. Search engines are in the business of making money. And the way they make the most money is by providing results that relevant to to the people using them. After all, if they didn’t return useful results, then people would simply go to a competing search engine to conduct their searches. The other thing they thrive on is fresh content because that’s what people are generally interested in. Blogs provide the best of both worlds: they are focused on a single topic, so there is built-in relevancy; they are updated frequently, so freshness is there as well.

A good blogging guide will show you how to make the most of both of these factors, plus another which we will get to shortly. When you are able to provide fresh and relevant content, your blog will start climbing higher in the search results. This is a good thing as most people will try searching with different words instead of digging too deep into the search results. If you can get on the first three pages of results, you have a chance to generate some decent organic traffic. The first page of results is even better, and the first one or two positions on page one are ideal.

So, now you know how important traffic is, and the general concept of how to get it. Now on to the other thing a good blogging guide will show you…how to make money with your blog. In other words, how to turn the traffic you get into a source of income. There are a few different ways you can make money with a blog, but it all comes back to treating blogging like a business.

One of the most important things you can do is buy your own domain name and hosting. While you can use free platforms like Blogger and WordPress, you still need to host them on your own site and pay for a domain name (such as www.nameoyourblog.com). Not only will it look more professional and give you more credibility, it will also give you more control over your content. See, if you use a free service, and host your blog with them using the free domain, they can delete your blog without warning. I don’t say that to scare you, but rather to stress the importance of hosting it yourself.

Adwords Marketing – Equals Traffic – Equals Dollars

Using Google Adwords marketing is one of many ways you can promote your website and get a lot of very targeted traffic. This form of advertising is very effective, if you know how to do it. If you don’t know how to do it, it will get very costly very quickly. Unless you have money to burn, you really should consider taking the time to fully learn all the ins and outs of using this method for getting traffic.

The two biggest advantage of using Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing is that it’s fast and the traffic you get will be very targeted (it’s not just about getting thousands of visitors to your site. If those people aren’t really interested in what you are selling they won’t buy… period. You want customers not just visitors). Getting the traffic quickly is a wonderful thing for anyone who wants to make money online. It’s a numbers game and the more visitors you can get to your offer or website, the more sales you’ll make. It’s as simple as that.

The biggest down side to using PPC in general and Adwords in particular is it will cost, sometimes a lot. There is a steep learning curve and just when you’ve got a successful campaign going it’s not uncommon for Google to make changes that will affect your campaign.

It is expensive to run a successful Adwords campaign, especially in the beginning. Why? Because when you’re first getting a campaign set up you are learning what works and what doesn’t. To really dial it in and make sure you are getting the most out of your ads you will need to test, and while you are testing you will be spending money.

That doesn’t mean you won’t be making any, but it does mean that until you find the right combination of headline, keywords, and body of an ad you will likely pay more for clicks than you’ll make in sales.

When you are testing your ads make sure that you only change one thing at a time. For example, run the ad, than change the headline than run it again. Did your clicks go up or down? If they went up keep the second headline but change the body copy. Did your clicks go up or down? Keep doing that until you have a winning ad.

I know this article is about PPC and Adwords and I don’t want to get too far off topic, but there is something else you need to keep in mind because if you don’t, it will cost you. And that is, that the clicks are only half of the story. Even if you’ve tweaked your ad so you’ve got a great ad that gets a lot of clicks, if those people don’t make a purchase, or sign up to your list when they visit your website you’ve essentially wasted the money on the click. While tweaking your ads don’t forget about your website copy too.

Adwords marketing can work well if you know how to do it properly. Take some time to learn how, set a realistic ad budget and keep testing. That’s the best way to leverage the power of Google.

Money Making Opportunities – Pros And Cons

If you’re looking for some great money making opportunities all you need to do is look around and use your imagination. For example, I know a lady who lives down the street and she has yard sales about every other week to make some extra money.

It really depends on how much extra money you want to make. If you’re just trying to come up with a few hundred extra dollars so you can buy your special someone a great birthday gift, you’ll most likely be able to get that simply by placing a classified ad for some old stuff you don’t use anymore.

If you’re looking for something a little more long term, and more than a few hundred dollars, I strongly suggest that you investigate starting an online business. There are pros and cons associated with this method though:

1. The pros are that you can start an online business with very little money, it’s fairly easy to learn the skills you will need and you can be making money pretty quickly if you apply yourself. There is also virtually no limit to how much you can make online and when your business is big enough (making a lot of money) you can invest in software and outsourcing so you can still make a lot of money without having to work a lot of hours.

2. The cons are that it will take time to put it all together and to learn the knowledge and skills. You will have to be very strong to stick to it even though you’re putting in a lot of work but not making much money. And it can be easy to get distracted online and jump from one thing to another (if you do that you’ll never make any money online).

Still, as far as I’m concerned, it’s still the best thing going. I think for anyone who wants true financial freedom and isn’t just in need of a few hundred dollars, that this is the best and most realistic way to free yourself once and for all from the gerbil wheel.

Most people spend their days (and weeks, months and years) going off to a job that they don’t even like. If you really stop to think about it, that’s pretty depressing. Instead they could be spending that time building something long term. Something that will truly give them the financial and time freedom that many of us always dream of.

One of the best places for you to start when it comes to building an online business is to become an affiliate marketer. This is simply a commission based business where your main job is to get traffic to the website that is selling whatever product you are promoting.

Once you’ve gotten good at it you can add other products and really scale your business. It’s at this point where it really becomes exciting. Let’s say you’re just starting out and you’re making about %500 a month promoting one product. Now that you’ve got the basics down what’s stopping you from promoting 10 products?

If each of those products also make you %500 a month you will be earning %5,000 a month. Not bad. And for the most part, it won’t take a whole lot more effort to promote 10 products than it does to promote 1!

That’s just one of many money making opportunities but it should give you an idea of just what is possible.
